Why are we using the response clickers?
  1. I can get immediate feedback in a big lecture.  If a lot of the class does not appear to understand the topic being discussed, I can provide more examples.
  2. Most students retain more of what they learn actively (like answering questions) than by passive learning (copying things from the board).
  3. Answering multiple choice questions is good practice for the exams.
  4. You can review the questions outside of class by visiting the (opens in new window)eInstruction web site.  Log in. Select Chem 105. Select "grades" from the menu. Each session appears in a table.  Select "Study Guide" to see the questions and your answers.
