Diatomic (Any Electron Geometries, AX)
Molecules in this category are all diatomics (molecules containing two
atoms). There may be many electron groups around the "central" atom, but there
is only one other atom in the molecule. The configuration is specified as AX,
where A represents the one atom and the X represents the other atom.

When you select a molecule you will see a rotating image of the molecule displayed using the JSmol applet.Rotate the molecule Hold down the mouse button and drag the cursor over the image. Zoom the view Hold down the shift key and the mouse button while dragging up or down over the image. On a touchpad two finger drag-up zooms in. Many more options in the right-click menu The right-click menu can also be activated by clicking on the JSmol icon at the lower right of the viewer.
