Triatomics (AX2 Configuration)
Molecules in this category are all triatomics (molecules containing three atoms).  There are only two electron groups around the central atom and;; both are bonds to the outer atoms. The configuration is specified as AX2, where A represents the one atom and each X represents one of the other atoms.
